The owners of a residential property in Coburg, Melbourne were concerned about the safety of their concrete driveway, which had become extremely slippery with the application of a coating. To prevent slips and falls, they decided to apply Swiss GriP Aqua Floorline.
The first step was to grind down the old and flaking coating. Then, the Swiss GriP Aqua Floorline was applied in two coats. The colour chosen for the coating was Anthracite Grey, which complemented the look of the property.
The Swiss GriP Aqua Floorline coating is specially designed to provide a high level of slip resistance, even when wet. Furthermore, it is a 100% water-based and VOC-free system with outstanding chemical and mechanical resistance. Therefore, the coating is highly durable and because it is UV-resistant, it is able withstand heavy traffic and exposure to the elements.
The project was completed within a two days and the owners were thrilled with the results. The new coating not only provided a safer surface for their driveway, but it also gave the property a fresh, modern look.
