We are proud to announce that Swiss GriP Non-Slip has won the DETAIL product prize 2019 in the interior design, lighting and furniture category. The DETAIL product prize is an international architectural award. Product entries were assessed by renowned architects like Per Pedersen (Staab Architects).
SWISS GriP NonSlip won the prize due to its unique product characteristics: “Wet areas can be optimised and rendered slip-resistant retrospectively and the application of the coating does not alter the design of the surface. The coating can be used on all materials, including tiles, ceramics, wood, glass and stone, and can be removed without damaging the surface if required.”
DOUBLE AWARD FOR FUNCTIONALITY, SAFETY AND AESTHETICS
“We’re proud to win these two important and valuable awards in such a short space of time,” said Thilo Bräuninger, Managing Director of GriP Safety Coatings AG, on receiving the award at the prize ceremony in Munich. The Swiss company manufactures the only globally certified non-slip coating.
In 2017, the company was elected an award by the Central Association for Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning (ZVSHK) as part of the competition “Comfort for Generations”. The expert jury selected Swiss GriP due to its excellent functionality and safety while not changing the aesthetics of the surface.
