The Lanserhof Lans in Austria offers its guests and patients a secure and slip-free stay with Swiss GriP® NonSlip. The clear, UV-stable non-slip coating was applied to the Corian® solid-surface flooring around the pool areas of the wellness resort.
The Lanserhof Lans in Tirol is a first class wellness resort. Thanks to its holistic approach to naturopathy and modern medicine, it is one of Europe’s leading wellness and recovery centres. The LANS Med Concept has been recognised world-wide and combines holistic medicine with regeneration and prevention.
Daily ‘Kneipp water treading’ sessions are part of the treatment program. The Kneipp pool area was constructed using the Corian® solid surface material, creating a luxurious and modern design. To meet and exceed safety standards, the resort decided to have Swiss GriP® NonSlip installed to prevent slipping incidents around the pool.
The surface was upgraded to a class C / R12 slip-rating. The Swiss GriP® NonSlip coatings have been certified by TÜV Rheinland in Germany in accordance to DIN 51097, using the ‘wet-barefoot inclining platform test’. In Australia, Swiss GriP® is certified with a P5 slip rating by CSIRO in accordance to AS/NZS 4586:2013.
