ANZ is among the top 4 banks in Australia with its global headquarters in Melbourne. Situated alongside the Yarra River, on Melbourne’s Collins Street, the building houses about 6,500 of ANZ’s people. The protect staff from slips and falls, Swiss GriP was commissioned to create non-slip vinyl floors.
Swiss GriP Non-Slip has been applied to various surfaces at ANZ’s 85,000-square-metre head office, as well as ANZ branches throughout Australia. To meet and exceed the Australian Standards for Slip-Resistance (AS 4663-2013), the bank has decided to apply Swiss GriP to vinyl surfaces at its headquarters.
Due to the exceptional adhesion of the Swiss GriP Coating System, the coating can be directly applied to vinyl. Our CSIRO-certified coating was installed by our application team to create non-slip vinyl floors. The treated areas include kitchens as well as a bar area. The transparent Swiss GriP coating was professionally installed using Graco HVLP Sprayers.
After just 12 hours of curing, the surface was already accessible, limiting down time for ANZ. After the installation, the slip resistance level of each surface has been independently tested. Each area achieved a P4 slip-rating, exceeding the minimum requirement in the Australian Standard for slip-resistance.
