Machi offers a menu that combines Japanese technique with fresh Australian produce. The restaurant wanted to maximise guest and staff safety by applying the Swiss GriP Non-Slip Coating to the kitchen as well as a small ramp in the restaurant.
The transparent Swiss GriP Coating was applied to the existing epoxy flooring in the kitchen which became slippery after several year in use. After the installation, the floor reached a P4 slip-resistance rating in accordance to AS 4586-2013. A small ramp used by guests in the restaurant was also made slip-resistant with the non-yellowing and Swiss-made coating.
