Swiss GriP Non-Slip was installed at the entry area of 270 King Street in Melbourne’s CBD. The stairs and podium leading up to the entry area of this apartment flat now meet the Australian Standard for Slip Resistance.
Swiss GriP offered a No Cure, No Pay installation to the management of 270 King Street because several anti-slip treatments had failed in the past to deliver. The entry area had to reach a P4 slip-rating. All anti-slip treatments failed to reach this slip-resistance standard in an independent slip-test.
Therefore, the management of 270 King Street asked for a No Cure, No Play installation. Swiss GriP Non-Slip was the only company to provide a quote. After the installation, SafeEnvironments Australia was commissioned to conduct the measurement of the slip-resistance in accordance to AS 4663-2013.
As expected, Swiss GriP reached high P4 and Slip-Ratings, easily meeting the requirements set by the management of 270 King Street.
