LifeView Argyle Court is a care home nestled in the bayside suburb of Chelsea and offers 45-beds with premium care. To optimise the wellbeing of residents, Swiss GriP Non-Slip was installed create non-slip bathroom floor.
To eliminate any slips and falls in the bathrooms, LifeView was looking for an anti-slip solution so the existing tiles could exceed the Australian Standard for Slip-Resistance (AS 4663). The aged care home selected Swiss GriP because our non-slip coating is the only CSIRO-certified solution with a P5 slip rating for barefoot areas.
Unlike anti-slip treatments, Swiss GriP does not damage the surface it is applied onto. Rather, it creates a transparent, water-repellent non-slip finish on top of the tiles. Another benefit that makes Swiss GriP the preferred non-slip solution for care facilities is that it is antimicrobial certified.
