Managed by the City of Melbourne, North Melbourne Recreation Centre (NMRC) is an aquatic and recreation centre that supports participation in sport at all levels, from family to professional. To optimise safety and accessibility, Swiss GriP Non-Slip was applied to tiles in the disabled bathroom.
Swiss GriP is the only CSIRO certified non-slip coating with a P5 slip-rating for barefoot areas (AS 4586-2013). Therefore, any surface can meet and exceed the Australian Standard for slip resistance. Because of Swiss GriP’s exceptional adhesion, our coating creates a durable slip-free finish on any type of tile.
The NMRC also valued the water-repelling and antimicrobial properties (ISO 846-certified) of Swiss GriP, allowing for an slip-resistant surface that is easy to clean. The Swiss GriP Coating was applied by our certified technician to the shower area of the disabled bathroom.
